The Famous Lineup of Villiger Dry-Cured Cigars

Villiger Cigars started in the small town of Pfeffikon, Switzerland, in 1888. Jean Villiger was a bookkeeper who, with the support of his wife, Louise, started manufacturing cigars in this quaint little town that remains the company’s headquarters today.

In 1907, this husband-and-wife team introduced a new mouthpiece on the Villiger cigar that was made of goose quill and designed to avoid loose tobacco from entering the smoker’s mouth. They named it the Villiger Kiel and it remains the best-selling little stogie of its kind not only in Switzerland, but the world over.

Other than replacing goose quill with plastic, the famous Villiger Kiel stogie recipe remains almost the same today. Machine-made in Switzerland with only the finest select Cuban-seed tobaccos from the world’s most fertile growing regions, these rich and smooth beauties are available in both Sumatra natural and Brazilian maduro wrappers. They have a bold Cuban-style zest that will appeal to fuller-bodied-cigar enthusiasts’ tastes.

Although most known for this flagship brand, many other unique blends have quenched the palates of discriminating smokers throughout the years. The popular Villiger Export cigar is a short, square-pressed smoke individually wrapped in tissue paper. These rich and smooth stogies are available in both a toasty Sumatra natural and a spicy Brazilian maduro wrapper. Both are bold with abundant notes of coffee, chocolate, and sweet spice. And if you didn’t know any better, you would swear that you were smoking a genuine Cubano!

A long, popular European-styled stogie, Villiger Braniff cigars are loaded with rich, complex flavors of toast, leather, and cocoa with a sweet, spicy finish. These petite flavor bombs will really soothe the senses when paired with a cup of espresso or dark-roast coffee.

Whether you like your stogies large, small, or in between, the impressive lineup of premium Villiger cigars is sure to please. In addition, they will never take up any valued real estate in your humidor, because these dry-cured gems can be stored at room temperature.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
