New Cigars from Foundation
As the saying goes, everytime Foundation cigars releases a new cigar an angel gets its wings. This year, quite a few angels were flying around the Foundation booth. Nick Melillo not only brought an entirely new line to IPCPR, but also a size extension and a general release of one of his most coveted event only cigars.
The Highclere Castle was the big release from Foundation two years ago and he is following it up with a stronger, spicier offering. It still uses the same Brazilian mata fina wrapper, but the cigar is now cloaked in a stunning reddish Ecuadorian Habano wrapper for a touch of rich spice. If you were a fan of the original Highclere, but are looking for a little more pop, the Victorian is the one for you!
Last year saw Foundation release its now immensely popular Tabernacle Havana Seed CT #142. This year Nick is adding a lancer, which as we all know will optimize the flavor by maximizing the wrapper to filler ratio. Nick also brought his popular event only cigar, the Menelik, and has turned it into a semi regular production line.
