As noted on the Long Ash Podcast and several other videos, seeing the new cigars from Crowned Heads was at the top of my list this year. As always they did not disappoint. Their booth is not as big as Drew Estate or as ornate as My Father, but its has a cozy feeling. Its faux wood paneling and American pickers style art on the walls screams “come in, sit down and enjoy a cigar with us”. While founder Jon Huber wasn’t feeling his best, he was excited to sit and talk with us about his latest release.
The newest cigar from Crowned Heads cigars is known as La Coalicion. It is a collaboration with willy Herrera and his team over at Drew Estate. It is hand crafted using an array of aged tobaccos including a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper. Its art work is traditional yet exceptional and the cigar itself is beyond compare. It is one of the best cigars either company has come out with in my opinion and so far one of the best new cigars from the 2019 IPCPR show. While it will be available soon, you can find all other Crowned Heads and Drew Estate Products right here at JR Cigars.
