Pilotico Pepe Mendez –A New Gem from Montecristo!

Introducing Montecristo Pilotico Pepe Mendez, the latest premium handmade cigar from a legendary brand that certainly needs no formal introduction. The story began when Altadis U.S.A. introduced a rare strain of Dominican tobacco called Pilotico that they unveiled for the much anticipated limited-edition release— Montecristo 80th Anniversary. This celebratory stick received such an avalanche of top-ratings that they decided to use it for the first time in this regular-production line offering.

The cigar is named both for the rare tobacco it contains and for José “Don Pepe” Mendez, tobacco pioneer and industry legend that cultivated this obscure strain. Toss in the fact that every cigar is expertly blended and rolled by Altadis U.S.A’s prestigious Grupo de Maestros, and you have another winner of epic proportions in the famous Montecristo brand lineup.

The cigars are handcrafted  at Tabacalera de Garcia, Altadis U.S.A.’s factory in La Romana, Dominican Republic with the rare Politico tobaccos cultivated in the nutrient-packed soil of the Dominican Republic’s Cibao region as the the centerpiece of this blend. Accompanying this extraordinary leaf is additional filler tobacco from Nicaragua, a Dominican binder, and a stunning golden-brown Ecuador Sumatra wrapper.

Remarkably rich and well balanced; you get a medium-bodied smoke with style, sophistication, and class. Once lit, a distinctively nutty, leathery, and sweet tasting flavor profile, along with a naturally sweet aged tobacco aroma will definitely have you coming back for (many) more!

Montecristo Pilotico Pepe Mendez comes elegantly boxed, banded, and available in three popular sizes, the 6 × 50-ring No.2, a 5 x 50-ring Robusto, and the biggest stick in the bunch, the 6 x 52 Toro.

A must try for every Montecristo maven, Pilotico Pepe Mendez will also appeal to just about every seasoned stogie enthusiasts looking for a totally unique, and incredibly delicious cigar to add to your collection.

And, on a personal note, thanks to all of the superior qualities mentioned above, these top-notch cigars have become a staff favorite here at JR Cigar!

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
