JR Quick Tip: The Fresh Check
- Remove the cigar from the cellophane
- Roll the cigar lightly between your fingers and listen for crackling
- If there is a lot of crackling it is dry and needs to be kept in a humidor
- Next gently squeeze the foot (bottom portion) of the cigar
- If the foot is slightly spongy it is well humidified, if it is hard it is dry and needs to be humidified.
